Privacy Policy

This describes how QuickTube handles data across creator, editor, YouTube, media, billing, and support workflows.

Last updated: May 5, 2026

1. Who We Are

QuickTube is a collaborative workspace for YouTube creators and editing teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website, create an account, connect services, upload media, invite collaborators, or use QuickTube.

If you use QuickTube on behalf of a business, team, or creator workspace, you are responsible for making sure the people you invite understand how QuickTube handles workspace information.

2. Information We Collect

Account information, such as name, email address, profile image, role, timezone, onboarding preferences, notification settings, and authentication details.

Workspace information, such as channels, projects, video titles, descriptions, metadata, comments, review status, chat messages, editor invitations, relationships, ratings, and workflow activity.

Media and file information, such as uploaded video files, generated playback assets, thumbnails, storyboards, export packages, file names, file sizes, storage keys, and processing status.

Billing information, such as selected plan, subscription status, billing interval, trial dates, renewal or cancellation state, and payment-provider identifiers. Payment card details are handled by our billing provider and are not stored by QuickTube.

Integration information, such as YouTube channel identifiers, OAuth scopes, access tokens, refresh tokens, analytics data, publishing status, Slack workspace connection details, and notification delivery settings.

Support and marketing information, such as demo requests, collaborator applications, feedback reports, bug reports, uploaded screenshots, contact messages, and email correspondence.

Technical information, such as IP address, browser, device, operating system, app route, logs, cookies or similar session technologies, performance signals, and security events.

3. YouTube API Services

QuickTube uses YouTube API Services to help creators connect channels, review channel information, prepare metadata, view analytics, and publish videos when authorized by the user.

By using YouTube-connected features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can review YouTube's Terms and Google's Privacy Policy.

We only access YouTube data for the purposes described in this policy and shown during the authorization flow. If we need to use YouTube data for a new purpose, we will update this policy and request any consent required by Google or YouTube policies.

You can revoke QuickTube's access to your Google account from your Google security settings. You can also disconnect channels or request deletion by contacting us.

4. How We Use Information

To create and secure accounts, route users into the correct creator or editor workspace, and provide authentication.

To operate creator workflows, including channel management, project tracking, editor handoff, review, comments, chat, video processing, metadata prep, analytics, and YouTube publishing.

To process trials, subscriptions, plan limits, cancellations, billing recovery, and payment-provider events.

To send transactional messages, invitations, reminders, support replies, product updates, and optional external notifications through connected services.

To improve reliability, debug issues, prevent abuse, enforce limits, investigate security events, and understand product usage.

To comply with legal obligations, platform rules, payment-provider requirements, and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. How We Share Information

With people in your workspace, including owners, editors, and collaborators who need access to projects, videos, feedback, assignments, and related workflow content.

With service providers that help us run QuickTube, including hosting, database, authentication, media storage, video processing, email delivery, billing, analytics, issue tracking, and notification providers.

With integration providers you authorize, such as Google/YouTube for channel and publishing workflows, Slack for notifications, WhatsApp/Meta for external notification delivery, and Polar for billing.

With authorities, advisors, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, collect fees, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use YouTube API data for advertising targeting.

6. Cookies And Similar Technologies

QuickTube uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, preferences, performance measurement, and product reliability.

Some third-party providers may set their own cookies or collect technical information when you use features they power. Your browser may let you block cookies, but some QuickTube features may stop working correctly.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide QuickTube, maintain workspace history, satisfy legal or billing obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service.

When a paid plan ends or a trial expires, existing workspace data may remain visible in a limited or read-only state so teams do not lose history immediately. New uploads, publishing, or collaboration actions may be paused until billing is restarted.

If you delete your account or ask us to delete data, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize information unless we need to keep it for legal, security, backup, billing, fraud-prevention, or platform-compliance reasons.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect account data, OAuth tokens, media assets, and workspace content from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. Please use strong account credentials, keep access to your email and Google account secure, and invite only collaborators you trust.

9. Your Choices And Rights

You can update account settings, notification preferences, workspace settings, and connected integrations from the product where those controls are available.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. To make a request, contact us using the email below.

You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing messages when unsubscribe controls are provided. Transactional and security messages may still be sent.

10. Children's Privacy

QuickTube is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to QuickTube, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. International Use

QuickTube and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as QuickTube evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the date above, posting an in-product notice, or requesting renewed consent where required.
